Prompt, organized, courteous service. Entertained two adults and, more importantly, two tweens for two full days of tours, a feat that we couldn't have replicated ourselves. This was the ideal introduction to Paris for the kids' first trip. Will definitely use on our next visit!

Just perfect execution Guide was Excellent

We had a wonderful day with our guide Alex. Learning the history of Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, Montmartre and Sacre Coeur from a live guide instead of a book was priceless. Our family, including 3 older teenagers, thoroughly enjoyed the day. Designing our own tour made the most of our limited time in Paris!

We had a great guide, Romain! He took us to the places we requested and we told him we were open to suggestions as well. He was patient with us and we stopped to see things along the way that caught our eyes. We had a wonderful day!

We loved Paris, but the day we took our private walking tour was by far our favorite day. Our guide, Alex was personable, knowledgeable and tailored the day perfectly to our liking. We saw some of the great sites of Paris with the benefit of his wonderful insight into what we were seeing, and he took us to off the beaten path places for a glimpse into Parisian life at local creperies, bakeries and more! We would highly recommend seeing Paris in this way!

Guide well informed and considerate. Made it interesting for all in our group. Paced the tour so that we could enjoy it and tailored it for our interests. It was obvious that he loved helping others to know and love Paris.

This is my second time I used Discover Walks for my private walking tour with Lucien. Last year was the Montmartre tour and this year was Notre Dame and Le Marais. Lucien is very informative and very pleasant tour guide. I learned a lot from his tour. If I do another tour anywhere in Paris, I will choose Discover Walk land Lucien again to be my tour guide.

Discover Walks was so good at following up with me to get information about what I wanted my Paris experience to be. Through their targeted questioning and clarification communications, they were able to relieve all my anxiety related to being in a foreign city. They delivered on every point and I would never consider using anyone else in the future.

Overall a great experience!

Great half day tour on our day of arrival from the States (from red-eye and no sleep). Be prepared with comfortable shoes if you choose to see as much as possible with a short stay as we moved quickly through the city. Victor really knows his city and even though we were tired from travel, it was well worth it and he was the perfect host. He showed us and informed us of details we would have been clueless about without his knowledge. Showed us the popular sites as well as interesting areas off the beaten path. He speaks clearly and with gusto in the loud areas and seems very passionate about paris. Would highly recommend! We did a ?private? tour for our family of 4.

I have mixed feelings about writing this review. Over the years, we have taken several private tours in Europe, all at the cost of several hundred Euros. Each time we have been subjected to a dissertation of why capitalism is bad, how the US needs the government to manage health care, general criticism of US foreign policy and the military and comments like "I would never want to live in the US." And yes, these comments about the US were unsolicited, they were all spontaneous. We are tired of spending hundreds of euros on what is supposed to be a pleasant experience only to have the US bashed by some know it all who has never lived here. Please, just stick to the tour and spare us your prejudice!!!

Our private tour of Paris with Florent was a great experience. We started in Montmartre and made our way to the Cite, ending in the Luxembourg Gardens. Along the way, Florent provided lively, interesting commentary on particular sites. We were the happy beneficiaries of his knowledge of, and love of, Paris.

On a family trip to Paris, we thought we?d like to see Paris by a local. Our guide met us at our hotel on time and his English was perfect. He spent an hour or two walking with us and discreetly getting to know what we wanted to see and what interested us. Quentin?s knowledge was fantastic. He took time to show and tell us things that a guide book would never have. His recommendation for lunch was faultless. All I can say is that it was money well spent. We had a great experience with Discover Walks. From the first contact with Liz who did an amazing job of answering all of our many questions before hand and our day spent with Florent we would all highly recommend Discover Walks to any one headed to Paris.

Alex was terrific. We wanted to see as much as possible and he was able to secure skip the line tickets and get us efficiently through several places. While give us in depth historical knowledge.

Our guide Alex could not have been more wonderful! My mom uses a mobility scooter and he was so patient and helpful. He is really good at tailoring his tours to the need and wants of his client. He made it a wonderful experience that I?ll never forget.

Lucien was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and kept things interesting for us and our 7 year old. We learned so much and had a wonderful time exploring Paris together.

We had Luc as our guide for the morning. Luc was punctual,engaging,professional,versatile(we had lots of questions) and enthusiastic about his job.

Elizabeth and Alexander run a thoroughly professional and competent operation, with a personal touch! Their guide, a fine young man Lucien Labroue is knowledgeable and pleasant. He has wonderful sense of humour which brings the moment and the monument to life! I leave France with wonderful memories thanks to these guys. I wish them all the very best. Alex always responded to my e-mails nearly immediately. That was especially helpful for correspondence after we'd arrived in Paris. There was one mix-up with timing, and while we were prepared to let it go (these things happen), he sent over a box of macarons to our hotel room to apologize. Couldn't really ask for more from a customer service standpoint.

Run don't walk and take a tour with Discover Walks! They are the best company by far. My cooking class with Philippe was out of this world! He was an incredible teacher and taught me so much! His tips about cooking, shopping and French culture were absolutely amazing! Spending time with him will definitely be one of my greatest memories! I wish I had more time to experience everything with Discover Walks!

We did 2 private tours. One with Luciene in the the Marais. He was very knowledgeable, and made it international. The other was with Marie at the Montemarte. She made it fun. We even stopped at a famous Boulanger to pick up the #2 baguette in France. I highly recommend both tours.

Truly for us, it was our Best day in Paris! We absolutely loved Florent! He was a welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic guide. It was more like walking with a friend than a guide.He was very patient with our son and gave us a fun, yet informative tour filled with details from history, fun facts, and spectacular views as well as secret, hidden views of your beautiful city! Florent was a wealth of knowledge. He really knows his history. He made sure we visited everything we wanted. We had lunch at a fabulous place he suggested. He even helped us buy tickets for the RER. He gave us wonderful recommendations for the rest of our stay in Paris. He also gave us safety tips. And the added bonus of a professional personal photographer! Sincerely, I can think of no better way to see Paris then with Florent! We wished we could have done another tour with him. We will look for your tours in every city we visit! I also must mention Eddy Castan who helped us decide which tour was best for us. I was so impressed and appreciative of the First Class service he provided. He was so professional. He went above and beyond, taking tickets to the Louvre to our hotel for us. He stayed in constant contact with us before our trip and when we arrived.
