Great way to immerse yourself in Parisian life around the river & St Germain. Our enthusiastic young local guide told us tales about the area and pointed out features not generally noticed by tourists. If you want an insiders view of their local area, this 2 hour walk is for you. We loved it so much, we did 2 more in different areas of Paris.

Very interesting tour of Saint Germain with Auraine. A small group with only two couples made it more personal. Auraine was a good tour guide and made the tour interesting and fun.

We went on two Discovery Walks in Paris. The first was with Patrick, through St. Germain, and the second was with Stan through Montmartre. We would never have discovered some hidden gems without taking these walking tours...best hour and a half we have spent on each! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the knowledgeable guides and would highly recommend to anyone, especially those, like us, who are visiting Paris for only a few days and have never been there before.

Really enjoyed the tour by a local guide. He was funny, offered interesting insights about the area, and was offered additional 'tourist' tips after the tour.

Our guide was very knowledgable and keep us interested the whole time and also our safety was his priority. Took us to places we would never have discovered ourselves and recommended eating places when we asked for specific foods.

Our guide was interesting, funny, informative and made the walk very pleasant. I discovered parts of Paris that I never knew existed even though I have been in Paris before. She was excellent.

Wonderful service, the guide was easily recognised and welcomed the group cheerfully. This gave the impression that they liked what they were doing. Very knowlegable, would reccommend this tour to anyone visiting Paris.

Auriane is very knowledgeable and took us through the intricate streets of Saint Germaine. Her narration style is very pleasing and we enjoyed the walk tour with Auriane and rest of the group.

Great program. Our tour guide Eric was amazing and we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend the tours on Discover walks. It's a great way to get the lay of the land and get some inside knowledge that may not be written in guidebooks.

No need to book, we did any way but otherwise had no direct contact with discover walks. Only gave 1 star as I feel it is an unreasonable business model for discover walks to advertise "FREE" walks when in reality if you don't tip the guide he won't earn money. He absolutely deserved every cent of the tip we left him and we would have given more if we could, but we were in effect subsidizing for those who didn't tip anything at all. This type of work is normally illegal in France so to be honest I'm not even sure how Discover Walks is operating.

Diese Tour ist ein kleines Schmuckst�ck. Noch besser ist, dass diese Gegend nicht so stark von Touristen frequentiert ist und man wirklich in Ruhe die Architektur, die Geschichte und alles Drumherum genie�en kann. Die Tour hat Lola geleitet und sie war total zuvorkommend.
