Our guide was informative, jovial, and gave lots of information on the Marais neighborhood. He made sure everyone heard and kept us together (a big group). I also felt he was showing us things a lot of tourists would not see - hidden squares and gardens.

I would recommend these walks to everyone going to or even in Paris. I did 3 of them while I was there and would have done more if I had more time. They really made my trip more interesting and so special. Guides were great and so knowledgeable. I posted a picture of the Shakespeare & Co. book store I learned about on the Latin Quarter Tour - Ask your guide about the "invasion". I started collecting pictures after the hidden gems tour.

We took two Discovery tours in Paris. Both the Marais and the Montmartre tours were excellent. Each guide spoke clear English and each had great knowledge of the area. We would recommend Discovery Tours for Paris tourists.

Eric was a great guide. The tour content however was less interesting than we expected. Se were aware that Le Marais was not about landmarks but still the content was not always that relevant.

Best kept secret for travelers! Office staff and tour guides were very helpful. Our guides were both knowledgeable, and fun! We enjoyed both of our guides so much. Loved the fact that our guide in Montmartre didn't loss her upbeat personality even in pouring rain. Our guide in Marais gave us great tips on how to choose a restaurant and also shared history of the Jews in Paris and the impact of WWII on them and how it impacted her family. That kind of personal touch made us love her.

Audrey (Montmartre) and Erik (Le Marais) were lovely. I learned a lot with them and they made for a wonderful day in Paris. I would definitely recommend! I would hope that in the future you change the payment model; I think it's better to charge for the tour and provide guides with fixed payment to reduce pressure and awkwardness. I would have gladly paid for this tour a fixed price!

This is one of the best ways to see particular sections of Paris. Audrey arranged for us to all meet outside an excellent restaurant so we had lunch and began our walking tour of the Marais section. She was knowledgeable, caring, and took us to streets that we ourselves wouldn't have known. There was no charge except for a gratuity which was left up to us.

The tour was fabulous. Before we arrived in Paris I had only signed us up for one. After we did our first Discover Walk ("trendy Marais") we ended up doing two more (Notre Dame and Monmartre). We ended up giving a generous tip because wer really felt the tour was just as good - probably even better - then anything we could have booked through our hotel at a huge price point. The guides are terrific! I highly highly recommend!
