Onze gids (helaas naam vergeten) maakte het zeer interessant voor ons. Het was super dat we op plekken komen waar de toeristen niet komen. Hier waren we anders niet gekomen. We komen al jaren in Parijs en toch kon ze ons veel nieuwe dingen laten zien.
Ze kon ook goed onze vragen beantwoorden.

I did two times tour with Discover Walk. First tour was Notre Dame, the guide was very friendly and nice, she explained about the Notre Dame and the neighbor clearly. The second tour was Montmartre -almost 2 hours, the guide also explained everything very clear and super nice!

I took three terrific Paris with Discover tours: Trendy Marais, The Left Bank, and Notre Dame. The tour guides were informative, lively, funny and fun. The guides are local Parisians so they knew things about the city far beyond what they offered during the tours. I got good recommendations for an art supply store, restaurants, current museum exhibits, upcoming sales, etc. I highly recommend this company!

The tour just wasn?t very interesting. Maybe the place is less interesting. We did a similar tour idea in Berlin and loved it, and this is why we did this one, but we felt we would have enjoyed it better on our own and for less money. The guide was OK, no complaints about him.

I went on the tour of Notre-Dame de Paris. It was very informative and the tour guide was very excited about all of it which translated into his tour. He made the facts and history behind Notre-Dame very easy to understand. He was professional throughout the tour (there were periods of rain during the tour).

I have already been to 4 Discover Walks tours, and plan to do the remaining three in Paris and the one in Barcelona! All the guides I have had are great. For the first tour in Marais, I was the only one who showed up but Sean still accommodated me. All the guides I have had are funny and knowledgeable. I did not even realize I spent so much time walking because I was enjoying so much. The guides also give recommendations for restaurants and bars. This really makes me feel like a local - I wish I had done this earlier when I moved to Paris for my studies!

We loved that Mae took the time to add in extra info that would be interesting to our 13 year old son. She spoke well and had a lots of good information about Monmarte but also Paris in general.

Ian was a great tour guide. He wasn't pushy at all for tips which I appreciated. Normally on walking tours its easy for me to get distracted, but I didn't find that happening on this one. I would recommend the tour to a friend.

I just came back from the Castle Tour in the Loire Valley. What a fantastic trip! We did the self-guided custom tour. We had the opportunity to explore on our own as well as the support we needed from the tour company. The staff was very helpful, the Chateaus were beautiful, and riding through the Loire was breathtaking. I recommend this trip to riders of all levels

We had a very lousy experience for the notredame tour. I guess the original tour guide could not make it, and a last minute replacement was sent to us. That was the first day of our tour guide, and he was not prepared for the tour. His tour ended in 15 minutes and was v disappointing for us, for we had forgone something else for, coming for a tour at notredame.
We advice, in case of a no show , it is better for the agency to cancel the tour and inform the people , than send an unsure replacement.

Nice basic tour that explains many of the external design features of Notre Dame. The two girls were students and had a respect for the architecture and an understanding of the history and meaning of the design. Enjoyable and enlightening.

The Notre Dame free walk was brilliant, our guide (sorry cant remember his name) was very knowledgeable, he had a great way of putting together the history of the building and area without losing the group to boredom. Would highly recommend the experience, would love to do it again.

Excellent excellent. We signed up for one walk, but ended up doing three -- this one, the Marais one and the Monmartre one. All were terrific - great, friendly, knowledgable guides who helped us really appreciate the history of each neighborhood and current flavor of each neighborhood. And I like that our payment is a tip directly to the guide who took such good care of us on the tour and made it so terrific. (I'm sure there is some pass-through to Discover Walks for overhead/promotion, but still I like the concept of paying the guide directly. All of the guides are local to Paris, and often to the neighborhood itself and know not just the tour stops but all the places for bread, pastry, gelato, cheese, etc.)

A very good tour from a local. While I have been to Notre Dame before, this tour was an entertaining and informative addition to our Paris experience. There are a lot of things about Notre Dame and the Heart of Paris I didn't know, and some great tips were given on what, when and how to see the Parisian sights. Highly recommend.
